The exhibition at the scotlandart.com gallery kicks off with a preview tonight, 6-8pm. There the Karen Cairns watercolour Scholarly Reflections, Kelvingrove Park (pictured above) will be auctioned off.

There will also be work on display from artists such as Jack Frame, Peter Nardini, Carol Dewart and Todd Garner.

The show runs until August 28, with all proceeds going towards building the cancer charity’s £10 million translational research centre in Garscube.

Cathy Ogg, of scotlandart.com, said: “We’re please we can help support the Beatson Pebble Appeal with an exhibition showcasing some stunning work which celebrates one of the city’s most iconic buildings.

“We’re confident that the work will raise a good sum to help support a great cause”.
